What is a solid poodle?

A solid colored poodle is just that, a poodle which is entirely cover with just one color. The color can be any poodle color including Black, blue, silver, brown, red, apricot, cream, white, etc. Solid poodles are gorgeous and what most people see as the original poodle.

An abstract is a poodle with a solid base and very minimal coloring of another color. This can include another color of points or a small white color on its chest. Abstracts points are usually white on any color of background. Marking may be on feet, tail, chest, or face but are very minimal.
